8Things (Blue Mountains) - Eat in or take-away “street” food prepared daily - by international chef Misha Laurent. With a passion for food and travel, and a family background in hospitality, french-born Misha has over 20 years experience in the food industry.
Whilst growing up in Paris he was exposed to North African/ Mediterranean culture and cuisine, which later became his passion and is reflected in his style of cooking today. His formal hospitality training began at the Sheraton Hotel in Munich, where he graduated in Hotel Management. With a desire to cook & travel, he was able to work in Europe, S-E Asia, and North America, during which time he developed a passion for quality Street food. Misha has spent the last 6 years cooking for several well-known restaurants in the Blue Mountains and is respected and recognised by the Australian food industry, for his passionate/professional approach to serving “good food”!
At 8Things, we believe you don't have to spend a fortune to get quality authentic dishes from around the world and take away food can be made fresh, quickly and simply. The 8 dishes will seasonally evolve and change, keeping the menu fresh and interesting with most products made on site.
